Admissions Nurse - RN Job Summary:

The Admissions Nurse - RN at Bethesda Health is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for overseeing the admission process and ensuring a seamless transition into care. This involves coordinating communication between families and staff, completing necessary documentation, and utilizing expertise in nursing practices and administrative skills to provide high-quality care.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an accredited nursing degree, a valid nursing license, and a minimum of two years of nursing experience, particularly in post-acute settings.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of the admission process, including patient assessment, care planning, and coordination with families and staff
  • Completion of necessary documentation and forms, including initial plan of care, medication lists, and physician orders
  • Verification of patient immunization status and administration of vaccinations as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and respond to the needs of patients and families in varied settings
Requirements:
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree preferred
  • Current nursing license in good standing in the state you will be working
  • Minimum two years of varied work experience as a professional nurse and preferably one of the two years in a post-acute setting
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience, as well as excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Our employees also enjoy daily pay, bonuses, career advancement opportunities, and holiday pay.
