Position Overview: Under direct supervision, the incumbent will participate in a Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.)   • Maintain proficiency in all training areas to ensure readiness for law enforcement duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. certification.
  • Valid California Driver License at the time of appointment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Age requirement: At least 20 years old at the time of application and 21 years old at the time of appointment.
  • Physical fitness to meet the medical and agility standards set by the County.
