Position: Corporate Communications Specialist

Summary:

The Corporate Communications Specialist is responsible for defining, designing, coordinating, and executing corporate-level communication strategies and standard operating procedures. This role involves evaluating, maintaining, monitoring, and editing communications related to corporate matters, while collaborating closely with various departments to ensure clarity and effectiveness in messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain content for organizational web pages as directed.
  • Establish and manage the organization's email distribution lists.
  • Oversee content management within web content systems (e.g., SharePoint, Site Works).
  • Draft, edit, and publish corporate materials and briefings (e.g., PowerPoint presentations).
  • Maintain and update briefing documents and archives.
  • Standardize and review communications products for classification and format.
  • Design and manage document control for government web pages using web content management systems.
  • Analyze customer requirements to ensure effective communication solutions.
  • Modify and prepare various media communications, including written and visual content.
  • Assist in managing orientation and check-in processes for newcomers.
  • Compile and distribute Weekly Activity Reports (WAR).
  • Facilitate briefings at the leadership level.
  • Ensure briefings are accessible for leadership review.
  • Compile Readiness Assessment inputs and prepare data for leadership review.
  • Publish monthly schedules for daily operational meetings.
  • Prepare necessary materials for important leadership meetings and briefings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is mandatory for consideration.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, or a related field (Four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree).
  • Minimum of six years of technical or editorial writing experience.
  • Four years of experience in an Intelligence Community (IC) environment.
  • Two years of experience in SharePoint content management.
