Process Improvement and Transformation Lead

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement and Transformation Lead to join our Digital Transformation team. As a key member of our team, you will lead business process improvement initiatives and enhance overall operational efficiency. You will work closely with various BWXT departments and sites to understand process challenges and develop innovative strategies to optimize workflows and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategies to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize resource utilization.
- Conducts thorough analysis of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Collaborates with peers to create consistent processes and practices across the organization.
- Puts together project teams and collaborates with IT to evaluate and implement new technologies and digital tools to enhance process efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of relevant experience in process improvement and change management OR
- High School diploma and at least ten (10) years' relevant experience in process improvement and change management.
- Solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Innovative and strategic thinker.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace change.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least two (2) years of project management experience.
- Proven experience partnering with IT to lead digital transformation projects.
- Proficient in data analysis and process mapping tools.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with Prosci ADKAR Model.
