Job Title: Labor Compliance Specialist

Kemp Bros. Construction Inc is seeking a highly skilled Labor Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Labor Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all construction projects comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements, wage and hour laws, and other labor-related regulations.
  • Collect, review, and maintain all necessary documentation related to labor compliance.
  • Work closely with subcontractors to ensure their compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Prepare for and assist with audits and inspections by regulatory agencies.
  • Generate and submit required reports to regulatory agencies, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve any labor compliance issues that arise during the course of a project.
  • Provide training and support to project teams and subcontractors on labor compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all labor compliance activities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor compliance, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiar with compliance tracking software.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
