Job Summary

The Student Services Coordinator will provide critical support to the Registrar's Office, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities and contributing to the development and maintenance of supporting systems. This role will involve working closely with students, staff, faculty, and the public to provide exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as primary support for Registrar's service interactions, providing clarification of academic regulations and supporting transcript, enrollment verification, and diploma orders.
  • Provide exemplary customer service via phone, email, and in-person to students, staff, faculty, and the public in a high-volume environment.
  • Support Registrar's Office activities related to degree conferral and commencement ceremonies, ensuring the release of student information within FERPA regulations and University policy.
  • Assist with posting awards to the academic record for outside activity, verifying data with the National Student Clearinghouse, and researching archived documents at the request of external and internal entities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with discrete clerical projects and actively pursuing professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or significant experience in higher education administration.
  • Exacting attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication skills, including clear and concise writing.
  • Ability to adapt and respond positively to an ever-changing workplace.
Work Environment

Work is performed under usual office conditions, with continuous contact with members of the work unit and immediate supervisor to plan, coordinate, problem solve, exchange information, and make suggestions related to mutual goals.
