Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the property is rented to its fullest capacity, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of financial goals and operate the asset in the best interest of the owner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all community transactions, including rent rolls, delinquency reports, move-in/move-outs, and submit them in a timely manner.
  • Lease Up and Rent Collection: Ensure the property is rented to its fullest capacity and minimize lost rent.
  • Staff Management: Consistently use successful techniques and company directives to screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Community Maintenance: Maintain community appearance, ensure repairs are noted and completed on a timely basis, and conduct regular community inspections and tours.
  • Communication: Possess a thorough understanding of the English language and ability to communicate effectively with others, including residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Transportation: Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance coverage, as this position may require some driving for company business.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years on-site as a Resident Manager, or 3 years supervisory experience in a customer service-related business with appropriate certification(s), or 2 years as an Assistant Manager to a large 100+ community, demonstrating key leadership and decision-making roles/duties.
  • Affordable Housing and Lease Up Experience: Proven track record of successfully leasing up properties and managing affordable housing communities.
  • Property Management Software Experience: Proficiency in property management software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365.
  • Supervisory Experience: Proven ability to lead and manage staff, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Education: High School Diploma required, College degree preferred.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, sales ability, and personal computer skills, including keyboard, internet search, and math.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and current auto insurance coverage.
