Job Summary

At Soliant, we are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with various speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language capabilities.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment data.
  • Provide direct therapeutic services to students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support and enhance students' communication abilities.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering valuable insights into student progress and objectives.
  • Offer guidance and training to teachers and parents on effective strategies for supporting speech and language development.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Florida.
  • Certification from the Florida Department of Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting with children.
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
