Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide clinical speech language pathology services for patients in various settings. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and current, unrestricted state licensure as required by the state of practice. At least one year of experience with the geriatric population is preferred.

About the Role

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide assessment, treatment, and evaluation of speech and language therapy patients in an accurate and timely manner. They will also educate patients and others with respect to therapeutic exercises, activities, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of equipment and instruments used in daily activities, rehabilitative treatment techniques, oral motor techniques, and various billing mechanisms.

Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist will comply with ATC policies and procedures, as well as client facility policies and procedures. They will document services provided accurately and completely, initiate emergency measures according to client protocols, and maintain confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with HIPAA. The ideal candidate will also communicate information effectively to appropriate personnel and maintain competency by participating in continuing education programs and meeting state-specific requirements as applicable.

Location and Schedule

The Speech-Language Pathologist will be based in Winter Haven, FL, and will work a Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule, with hours from 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm.
