About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurology Physician to join our team at the West Los Angeles VAMC as a Staff Movement Disorder Neurologist. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide day-to-day care to our Veteran patients, working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face encounters or utilize telehealth modalities to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Perform neurologic procedures, such as Botulinum toxin administration and Deep Brain Stimulation programming.
  • Assimilate diagnostic study results into treatment plans, utilizing expertise in neurological disorders.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to healthcare professionals, medical students, residents, and fellows.
Work Schedule

This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday schedule, with hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Qualifications
  • A U.S. Citizen is required.
  • Must possess a Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent, along with a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
  • Completion of an accredited core specialty residency is necessary, along with Board Certification or eligibility in Neurology.
  • Movement Disorders Fellowship is also required.
