**About the Opportunity**

The Veterans Health Administration, a leading healthcare provider in the United States, seeks an exceptional Staff Movement Disorder Neurologist to join our West Los Angeles VAMC team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, education, and research.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide day-to-day care to Veteran patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, utilizing face-to-face encounters or telehealth modalities.
  • Conduct neurologic procedures, such as Botulinum toxin administration and Deep Brain Stimulation programming.
  • Assimilate diagnostic study results into differential diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Supervise and mentor other physicians, healthcare professionals, medical students, residents, and fellows in neurological disorders and treatments.

**Work Schedule:** Monday - Friday, Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

**Qualifications:**

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Educated with a Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine
  • Possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
  • Completed residency in an accredited core specialty
  • Board Certified or eligible in Neurology
  • Movement Disorders Fellowship required

  • Competitive salary range: $235,000-$300,000
  • 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year, and possible 5-day paid absence for CME)
