Job Overview

Brooklyn Community Services is seeking a dedicated ESL Instructor to join our team at the Education Center in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and facilitating ESL classes for students enrolled in beginner-level classes, intermediate-level classes, or language-supported vocational training.

Key responsibilities include developing curriculums and lesson plans, maintaining attendance records, and attending staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Qualifications required include a Bachelor's degree, a Certificate or higher in TESOL or equivalent, and at least one year of teaching experience, preferably in a community setting.

Language skills in Spanish, Arabic, and/or Chinese are preferred, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and work as part of a team is essential.
