Key Responsibilities:

As a Civil Engineer (EIT), your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the creation of civil engineering designs, technical calculations, reports, construction documents, specifications, entitlement documents, and permit applications for various land development projects including residential subdivisions, commercial and industrial developments, and multifamily projects.
  • Conducting site analysis, researching materials and codes, estimating material quantities, and providing essential documentation for projects.
  • Delivering engineering designs related to water systems, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and roadway enhancements.
  • Supporting the development of AutoCAD (CIVIL3D) drawings for schematic designs, design development, and construction documentation.
  • Collaborating with team members and Project Managers to ensure project success.
  • Engaging in mentoring programs and pursuing career advancement opportunities.
Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
Experience:
  • 0-4 years of civil engineering experience, particularly in land development projects. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Skills:
  • Registered EIT or actively pursuing completion of the FE Exam.
  • Ability to compose project narratives, prepare development applications, and draft plan documents.
  • Proficient in researching municipal codes, zoning regulations, and design standards.
  • Capable of developing mentoring skills and providing technical support to peers.
  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in land development engineering, including grading, drainage, utility design, and roadway design is advantageous.
Compensation:

Salary range of $65,000 to $95,000, based on experience, plus bonus opportunities.
