We are seeking a skilled Medical Health Professional to join our team at UNIVERSITY WELLNESS. As a Weight Loss Program Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our patients on their journey to improved health and wellness.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:- Vital Signs and Patient Care: Obtain vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections and EKGs as needed.
- Nutritional Planning and Education: Determine appropriate nutritional plans for patients and provide clear instructions to ensure they understand their care plan.
- Customer Service and Retention: Provide exceptional customer service to maximize patient retention and satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with patients, doctors, and other team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform front office functions, including scheduling appointments and managing electronic medical records.
- Clinical Skills and Knowledge: Skilled at intra-muscular and subcutaneous injections, EKGs, and blood draws.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, doctors, and colleagues.
- Sales and Marketing Techniques: Persuasive sales techniques and an understanding of how to recommend additional services to patients.
- Educational Background: Ability to understand and follow clinical instructions generally acquired through Medical Assistant training.
