Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team at HealthBay, providing essential assistance and support to the elderly in their daily activities.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and well-being of our elderly customers by assisting with tasks such as food preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and personal grooming.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Assist older individuals with personal care activities such as dressing, grooming, and bathing.
  2. Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks in compliance with dietary guidelines.
  3. Dispense prescription medications in accordance with prescribed schedules.
  4. Ensure that seniors reside in a safe and comfortable setting.
  5. Provide companionship and engage in substantive discussions to enhance mental and emotional well-being.
  6. Assistance with basic housekeeping tasks, including laundry and the organization of living spaces.
  7. Monitor the health and behavior of elders, and inform medical professionals of any changes.
  8. Maintain comprehensive records of all daily activities and care provided.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven caregiving experience, preferably with elderly individuals.
  • Compassionate and benevolent, possessing a genuine intent to aid others.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Fundamental comprehension of CPR and first aid is beneficial.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license.
