Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will:

  • Investigate customer inquiries and support agencies in resolving issues.
  • Coordinate matters related to the Statewide Cost Allocation Plan and assist state and federal agency partners.
  • Provide business-level assistance to agencies regarding the Statewide Cost Allocation Plan and Petty Cash operations.
  • Guide agencies on various federal cost allocation and Petty Cash program regulations.
  • Prepare Collection and Federal Funds Participation workbooks.
  • Compile report pages of costs for agencies delivering centralized services.
  • Draft correspondence to request reviews of information from agencies.

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates should have:

  • 42 months of experience or training in accounting and/or finance, including advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Completion of an undergraduate or graduate program in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field, with corresponding experience.
  • 12 months of experience as a Financial Analyst or equivalent qualifications.


Note: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may substitute for a portion of the required experience.
