Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement site-specific hazard control and mitigation methods, procedures, and programs.
  • Coordinate and conduct safety training for all employees and contractors, including new hire orientation and refresher training.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety training, incident reports, and OSHA logs.
  • Lead the monthly Safety Committee meetings and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Management team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Assist with safety-related audits and inspections, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the EHS Director.
Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in safety, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Safety-related certifications, such as OSHA 30, preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility with work schedule and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
