We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Trinity Health of New England. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood and other specimens from patients in our Patient Service Centers.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and process blood and other specimens from patients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Verify patient identification and prepare skin sites for venipuncture and skin puncture.
- Label and transport specimens to the laboratory for analysis.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- National Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license in good standing required.
- 1 year of experience in phlebotomy or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
