Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Team Member to join our team at Iron Peak Sports and Events. As a key member of our concessions team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating an electronic cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate an electronic cash register and credit card machine, accurately handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Perform basic mathematical computations, balancing the cash drawer and managing daily income.
  • Communicate effectively with the public, using a tactful, polite, and friendly manner to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Clean and maintain the dining and concession areas, including tables, floors, and equipment.
  • Assist in preparing and serving food items, filling condiment containers, and taking and recording temperature of food to ensure proper temperature controls.
  • Assist in unloading, lifting, and carrying food and supplies from trucks and storage areas, and place them in designated areas.
  • Assist in party rentals, including guest check-in, party supplies and set-up, cleaning of cabanas and shelters.
  • Responsible for keeping the following items out of the waterpark: ice chests, outside food and drinks, rafts, and all flotation devices.
  • Alert management immediately for suspicious acting persons, intoxicated individuals, adults with no children, etc.
  • Alert management immediately regarding mistake or adjustment to the cash drawer.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Prior experience operating a cash register and balancing a cash drawer.
  • Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons.
  • One year of customer service experience with general public preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
  • The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift, pull, push, and/or move heavy items.
  • The employee is exposed to cleaning chemicals that must be handled with extreme caution.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in outside weather conditions and can be exposed to hot, wet, and humid conditions.
  • Employees will be exposed to outside temperatures ranging from degrees.
  • Minimal duties are performed in direct sunlight.
