Job Overview

i9 Sports is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Basketball Instructor/Official to join our team. As a critical role on any court, you will be responsible for enforcing rules while cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-court coach, and advocating for the program.

Responsibilities
  • Study and enforce i9 Sports rules and safety for all players.
  • Instruct players during practice using age-appropriate practice plans developed by i9 Sports.
  • Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Sports officiating, playing, or coaching experience is a must.
  • Enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and trustworthiness.
  • Situational awareness, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Commit to working weekends for the full duration of the season, 8 weeks.
  • Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be dependable.
