About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join our team at Wolfspeed. As a key member of our Network Operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our complex infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and enforce system standards, including documenting global infra design and preparing high-level BOMs for equipment and services.
  • Design and implement secure, reliable, and scalable infra services that meet our ongoing and evolving business requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design and implement servers, storage, containers, and network infrastructure, and mentor team members on technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain complete technical documentation, and communicate with users as needed.
  • Participate in the Architectural Review Board to validate designs across all areas of technology.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, particularly with Vmware, NetApp, Openshift, Tanzu, and other container technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and ability to work with business stakeholders to understand and define requirements.
  • Experience with cloud and network architecture, scripting, and writing protocols, as well as comfort with computing, frameworks, hybrid cloud, and communications systems.
  • Ability to work on-call or non-standard business hours as needed.
