Key Responsibilities- Implement the Medical Equipment Management Plan to maintain clinical equipment.
- Perform installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of local and national public safety and regulatory requirements.
- Provide basic front-line customer service and support to patients and staff.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in biomedical equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering, or Associate's degree with relevant experience.
- Proven experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.
- Strong understanding of clinical equipment, radiological, laboratory, and network medical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid US State Driver's License.
- BS/AS Degree with 2 years experience working in Biomedical Engineering.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMMS, and NJDOH standards.
- Experience in a hospital or industrial environment with experience in hospital-related equipment.
