Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective imaging services to patients, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of technical procedures, including imaging and radiopharmaceutical administration, to diagnose and treat diseases.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and achieve optimal imaging results.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved AMA Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • ARRT Nuclear Technology certification.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting, preferably in nuclear medicine.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with radiopharmaceutical administration and imaging procedures.
  • Knowledge of nuclear medicine technology and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
