We address regional issues that transcend city limits and county lines, making decisions that impact our transportation system, ensuring the safety and well-being of older adults and individuals with disabilities, connecting people to jobs, and preserving water quality for future generations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to enhance and expand pre-employment transition services for students with disabilities aged 14-22, preparing them for post-secondary education and employment.

• Collaborate with Vocational Rehabilitation Service staff, Workforce Solutions staff, school district staff, employers, and community partners to increase the success of students with disabilities in transitioning to post-secondary education and employment.

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork capabilities.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications.Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience working in the social, behavioral, health, or human service field, local government, nonprofit programs, schools, or job-related duties.
