Job Title: Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Resia. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in the manufacturing plant.
  • Diagnose electrical problems, faults, or malfunctions in plant equipment and systems.
  • Use testing devices and meters to identify the root causes of issues.
  • Repair or replace defective components, such as faulty wiring, switches, or motors.
  • Ensure the timely resolution of electrical breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Adhere to electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Follow lockout/tagout procedures when working on electrical equipment.
  • Test and inspect electrical systems to ensure proper grounding, insulation, and circuit integrity.
  • Install safety devices, such as surge protectors and ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs), as required.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to identify potential problems and ensure their optimal performance.
  • Perform inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of electrical components.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment logs.
  • Install, program, and troubleshoot control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor control centers (MCCs), and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).
  • Collaborate with automation engineers or technicians to integrate electrical systems with manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Assist in electrical system upgrades, expansions, or modifications to support changes in production requirements.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational training or an apprenticeship in electrical trade is required.
  • Valid electrician license or certification, as per local requirements.
  • Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
