We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Nursing Officer to lead our nursing team at Riverwoods Behavioral Health System. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, monitoring, and supervising nursing services to ensure the highest quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategic Planning: Develop and implement nursing strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and direction to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of safe, timely, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care.
- Staff Management: Recruit, develop, train, and manage nursing staff to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
- Quality Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, staff performance, and operational efficiency of the nursing department.
- Financial Management: Develop and oversee the nursing department budget and reporting.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing required. Master's degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred.
- Experience: Six or more years' nursing experience. Three or more years' progressive managerial experience required. Three or more years behavioral health experience preferred.
- Licenses/Designations/Certifications: Current RN license. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
