Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have an ACVREP certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a school setting or working with minors with different impairments.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect orientation and mobility support to students with visual impairment
- Conduct orientation and mobility evaluations and re-evaluations for students in the region
- Evaluate student progress on an ongoing basis and document data for progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers of students with visual impairments to conduct functional vision assessments for independent travel
- Perform other duties as assigned by the administration
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree
- ACVREP certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting or working with minors with different impairments
