AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Orientation and Mobility Specialist to provide direct and indirect support for students with visual impairment in schools across Austin, Texas.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have an ACVREP certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a school setting or working with minors with different impairments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect orientation and mobility support to students with visual impairment
  • Conduct orientation and mobility evaluations and re-evaluations for students in the region
  • Evaluate student progress on an ongoing basis and document data for progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers of students with visual impairments to conduct functional vision assessments for independent travel
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the administration
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree
  • ACVREP certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting or working with minors with different impairments
