Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery or assembly equipment to produce parts or products.
  • Accurately maintain all production records, whether on paper or through a real-time computer system.
  • Position inserts, hand load, and manage workpieces on machines.
  • Remove finished products from machines, unless handled by robotic systems.
  • Conduct visual inspections of 100% of products for surface and dimensional defects.
  • Perform all secondary operations on parts as outlined in the quality documentation (e.g., trimming, adding fasteners, etc.).
  • Complete necessary labeling and documentation for products.
  • Package products for distribution.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all Environmental Management System guidelines for recycling.
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
  • Engage professionally and respectfully with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A solid employment history.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capacity to quickly acquire comprehensive knowledge of products.
  • Willingness to assist team members with additional tasks as needed.
  • One (1) or more years of manufacturing experience; experience with plastics is advantageous.
