Maintain a high level of quality and efficiency in the Triumph Actuation Systems - Clemmons Paint Shop by performing surface preparation, priming, and painting tasks in accordance with regulatory, company, customer, and manufacturer guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate and timely completion of painting tasks, adhering to production deadlines and quality standards.
- Coordinate paint shop inventory needs, ordering supplies and maintaining equipment to optimize productivity.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace coatings painting preferred.
- Strong painting aptitude and ability to work with various types of coatings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, military, and customer specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word & Excel.
- Familiarity with AS9100 & NADCAP processes and procedures a plus.
Work may require bending, carrying, climbing stairs, lifting to sixty (60) pounds, pulling, pushing, reaching, continuous and/or long periods of time hand & arm movements sitting, and standing.
Must be able to pass a respirator physical and work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
