As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to patients, assessing nutrition needs, and developing personalized care plans.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Screen patients for nutrition problems and assess their nutritional needs
  • Plan and implement medical nutrition therapy, including enteral and parenteral nutrition
  • Counsel patients on modified diets and provide education on nutrition and health
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement nutrition care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in dietetics, foods, nutrition, or institutional management from an accredited college
  • Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensure by the West Virginia Board of Licensed Dietitians
  • Knowledge of theory and practice of diets, menu planning, and patient counseling
