As a Child Life Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting family-centered care and meeting the psychosocial needs of patients and families. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing education, preparation, procedural support, and psychosocially supportive interventions to help children and families cope with medical experiences.

In this role, you will serve as a liaison between parents and professionals from various disciplines, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. You will also provide play therapy and other interventions to support the emotional and developmental needs of children.

Our Child Life Services team provides support to various areas within the hospital, including the Pediatric Unit, PICU, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Infusion Center, Pediatric Craniofacial Clinic, Outpatient Surgery, Outpatient Radiology, Pediatric Traumas, NICU, NTU, Children of adult patients, CAC, and ER.
