Job Description

We are excited to offer an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse II or III to join our team at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are committed to providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves working 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.

As a Clinical Nurse II or III, you will have the opportunity to take on leadership roles, mentor junior staff members, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. You will also have access to ongoing education and training opportunities to help you stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practice.

Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility
  • Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program recognized by the state's Board of Nursing
  • Completion of an approved RN to BSN program within two years of hire (if required)
  • 12-24 months of RN experience (for Clinical Nurse II) or 3 years of clinical experience (for Clinical Nurse III)

  • A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience

In addition to these benefits, we also offer a sign-on bonus of $20,000 for eligible candidates who accept an offer before December 31st of each year. Terms and conditions apply.
