Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement quality control processes and systems for CNC-manufactured metal and polymer products. * Conduct inspections on materials, components, and final products using precision measuring tools. * Analyze product specifications, engineering blueprints, and manufacturing processes to establish quality standards. * Collaborate with the production and design teams to resolve manufacturing or quality issues and ensure alignment with quality objectives. * Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product non-conformance or defects. * Oversee the calibration and maintenance of measurement and testing equipment. * Document and report on quality metrics, inspections, and audits. * Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet required standards. * Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and other regulatory requirements. * Lead internal quality audits and assist in external audits by clients or certification bodies. * Provide training to manufacturing personnel on quality control processes and best practices. * Work to continuously improve quality systems, reduce waste, and optimize production efficiency. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience in quality control within CNC manufacturing, ideally working with both metals and polymers. * Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, materials, and fabrication techniques. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T. * Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.). * Familiarity with inspection tools such as CMM, micrometers, calipers, and surface finish testers. * Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to precision. * Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality control methodologies. * Proficiency in quality analysis software and data reporting tools is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: * Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. * Experience with polymers and their machining characteristics. * Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles. * Experience working in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
