Responsibilities- Assess and admit patients, conducting thorough evaluations to identify their unique needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver high-quality patient care, administering medications, performing treatments, and providing education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care, communicate effectively, and ensure seamless transitions between shifts and departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia or compact/multi-state licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and populations.
