Job Title: Psychiatric Charge Nurse (RN)

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Charge Nurse (RN) to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our psychiatric unit. As a Psychiatric Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, planning and implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating the effectiveness of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide and implement nursing care interventions, including medication administration and wound care
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care interventions and make adjustments as needed
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including delegating tasks and providing feedback
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • One year of medical/psychiatric experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records
