Psychiatric Nurse Manager

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Charge Nurse to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

- Shift: 8 hours, evenings
- Employment Type: Staff
As a Psychiatric Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of nurses, and ensuring the smooth operation of the psychiatric unit. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide education to patients and families, and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide and implement nursing interventions to promote patient safety and well-being
- Lead and manage a team of nurses to ensure high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Provide education to patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- One year medical/psychiatric experience preferred
- Basic computer skills to use electronic medical records and other systems
