We are seeking a highly skilled Water Restoration Specialist to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore 7622 - Gilbert. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and completing tasks for water restoration jobs to ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Job Site Management: Retrieve work orders, check routes for travel, ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on the truck, and arrive at the work site on time.
- Customer Communication: Explain processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to resolution in person to customers, using printed materials as a guide with or without supervisor.
- Job Completion: Complete assigned jobs according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job.
- Water Damage Repair: Perform water damage repair, including water extraction, pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, light construction, and demolition as directed by supervisor.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products are properly handled, and report any equipment malfunction or damage to the supervisor.
- Customer Satisfaction: Inspect jobs after completion, obtain customer signatures for approval purposes, and request payments when necessary.
- Job Monitoring: Perform daily monitoring and tasks on assigned water jobs to residential and/or commercial customers with urgency.
- Drying Plan Adjustment: Make daily adjustments to the drying plan based on meter readings.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve issues with customers, communicate customer issues, daily job activities with supervisor, and key company staff.
- Documentation: Prepare documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience in the restoration or construction industry is not required but preferred.
- License: Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
- Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, good customer service skills, experience with using mobile software to enter data, and ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to move up to 70 pounds often, stand and walk for extended periods, express or exchange ideas with others quickly, and use visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities.
