The Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a dedicated full-time Veterinary Assistant to enhance our exceptional Emergency team.

Schedule:

Full Time, 40 hours per week, with shifts from 10am to 8pm, Thursday through Sunday.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience or education in a veterinary setting is preferred, especially in emergency or specialty care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kennels.
  • Perform general cleaning duties throughout the hospital, including sweeping, mopping, and laundry.
  • Assist in feeding, bathing, and restraining patients, as well as administering medications under the guidance of Veterinary Technicians.
  • Ensure hospital supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Provide assistance to clients with their pets as needed.
  • Support the team with radiographs and ultrasounds.
  • Help prepare and clean surgical suites.
  • Cross-train for front office responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in hospital policies and procedures, medication calculations, and terminology with support from the Nurse Supervisor.
