Responsibilities

  • Assess and admit patients, providing individualized care and attention to their needs
  • Round on patients, checking on their condition and providing updates to family members
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Valid RN license in Virginia or North Carolina
  • 2 years of consecutive recent RN experience in one specific specialty
  • BSN or MSN preferred
  • Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, or ENPC, depending on the specialty
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
