Responsibilities
- Assess and admit patients, providing individualized care and attention to their needs
- Round on patients, checking on their condition and providing updates to family members
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
- Valid RN license in Virginia or North Carolina
- 2 years of consecutive recent RN experience in one specific specialty
- BSN or MSN preferred
- Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, or ENPC, depending on the specialty
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
