Job Title: Assistant Project Controls Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Controls Specialist to join our team at Innova Solutions. As an Assistant Project Controls Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the project team in managing project controls, ensuring timely and within-budget project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in setting up project controls in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software.
  • Input data, maintain logs, and run reports in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software or other tools.
  • Assist in creating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and developing, implementing, and maintaining scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts.
  • Responsible for following project execution plans and assisting with reviewing and approving Purchase Orders and/or Subcontracts for proper coding.
  • Input and document changes to cost reports or forecasts and assist with upstream (prime contract) and downstream (purchase order & subcontract) change orders.
  • Assist in the development of cash flows, schedules, and resource loading of a schedule.
  • Assist in coordinating project schedules and the development of scheduling reports and retrieving, reviewing, and distributing pre-programmed scheduling reports along with back-up documentation.
  • Assist in updating and documenting schedule progress and developing and maintaining an earned value management system.
  • Assist in verifying progress measurements, developing and maintaining progress curves, and material takeoffs.
  • Assist quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables and assist with field audits to validate accuracy of reporting and processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and 2 years of experience required.
  • Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • OSHA 10-hour safety certification and ability to obtain.
