We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join our team at Nations Roof LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, and implementing multiple concurrent commercial roof projects from pre-construction to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare project schedules and phasing plans to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage job costs through regular ECAC and WIP reviews to maintain budget adherence.
  • Control manpower on project(s) to optimize resource allocation.
  • Coordinate project activities to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Effectively read and takeoffs from plans/specs for new/reroof projects.
  • On-site management of assigned projects, including coordination/supervision of subcontractors.
  • Control and prioritize multiple activities while handling multiple projects.
  • Assist in winning profitable repeat business by cultivating customer relationships.
  • Participate in pre-job meetings with handoff from estimating to operations.
  • Prepare purchase orders for review and participate in all pre-construction meetings.
  • Maintain communication with project contacts regarding scheduling and ensure inventory of materials received at project sites.
  • Coordinate Final Inspections with Customer/Manufacturer and advise Estimating of completion.
  • Complete Project closeout documents and ensure Quality Control of projects.
  • Assist Estimating on an as-needed basis on job walks and small service projects.
  • Verify that Safety plans are executed per Nations Roof Policies.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of commercial roofing experience.
  • Experience in Project Management and/or estimating in commercial roofing or similar commercial construction industry.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Understanding of commercial/industrial system design and installation code compliance and manufacturers' requirements for warranty.
  • Experience with project management software, preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Written and verbal communication and time management abilities.
  • Organized person and enjoys working outside.
  • Lift and climb up and down a 30 ft. ladder or many flights of stairs.
  • Capable of receiving instructions and clearly explaining problems and solutions to customers.
  • Abide by all job-site safety requirements, including PPE, and fall protection.
  • Must be team-oriented and willing to perform based on the company's Core Values.
  • A valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
