We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Nurse to join our team at Kaleida Health. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with various medical conditions, providing high-quality patient care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with various medical conditions, including cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological disorders.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse/RN.
- American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a telemetry unit or critical care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
