Bright Innovation Labs is seeking a highly skilled Chemist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Test and approve raw materials, finished, and in-process batches, making adjustments as necessary.
- Analysis and approval of line samples.
- Assist in production problems - trouble shooting.
- Maintain and calibrate all gauges and instruments.
- Prepare and standardize all required reagents.
- Develop and validate new analytical procedures.
- Assists in training personnel.
- Perform stability testing on OTC production.
- BS in Chemistry, related science field, or equivalent quality/lab experience.
- Experience with Basic Lab instrumentation/QC tests.
- 3 on 2 off schedule including every other weekend required.
- OT availability.
- Chemist Preferred Requirements: Manufacturing experience desired.
- Strong experience using various laboratory equipment (e.g. PH meter, HPLC/GC, Titrator, UV-VIS, Viscometer) and aseptic sampling techniques.
- All applicants must be able to successfully pass background check and drug screen.
