Job Summary

Powder Mountain, a premier year-round resort and real estate development project, is seeking a highly skilled and professional Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and quality in our luxury resort homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and scrub toilets, countertops, showers, sinks, furniture, baseboards, walls, and appliances.
  • Remove trash and debris, make beds, and maintain a detailed eye for cleanliness.
  • Follow detailed instructions and expectations to deliver exceptional cleanliness consistent with a luxury resort.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment and follow the direction of the Housekeeping Lead and/or Manager.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in an ever-changing work atmosphere and flexible daily schedule.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in workable order to ensure high efficiency.
  • Assist Housekeeping Lead/Manager with low inventory counts/restocking to maintain supply quantities.
  • Notify Team leader when equipment or supplies are in need of replenishing.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision and maintain high performance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance team.
  • Report and return any guest/owner properties found in the rooms while rendering services.
  • Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of company-related practices.
  • Act in a manner that demonstrates a high standard of values consistent with the Powder Mountain leadership team.
  • Clean, disinfect, and store all equipment at the end of the shift in the appropriate and designated areas.
  • Perform detailed deep cleans of homes when required.
  • Assist with restocking of amenities and toiletries in each home.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned by Lead, Manager, and/or Director.

Requirements:

  • Experience with a variety of cleaning tools and safe handling of chemicals.
  • Over 18 years of age is required.
  • Current driver's license and ability to pass background check.
  • Have reliable transportation or utilize Utah Public Transportation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Able to work holidays, weekends, and weekdays, and possibly evenings.
