Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)

LHC Group is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes.

About the Role:
  • As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide treatment and exercise instruction to patients in their homes.
  • You will be responsible for following the established plan of care, performing treatment, and providing patient education to improve their well-being.
  • Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform treatment and provide exercise instruction to patients in their homes.
  • Follow the established plan of care and make recommendations for changes as needed.
  • Provide patient education and instruction on exercises and activities to improve their well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
Requirements:
  • Current licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • One (1) year of experience as a licensed PTA is preferred.
