Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes and coordinate efforts for treatment and quality improvement.
- Compile data, track outcomes, and make recommendations for process improvement to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Provide referrals and support for follow-up care for patients who are uninsured or underinsured, ensuring they receive necessary resources and services.
- Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in all patient encounters to deliver high-quality care.
- Assist medical providers with processing diagnostic results, bringing significant values to their attention, and exhibiting knowledge of tests and procedures and their significance as related to patient care.
- Recognize the implementation of dosages, interactions, side effects, adverse effects, routes of administration of drugs as they apply to individual patients, and use knowledge of medications to instruct patients about medication therapy.
- Establish working relationships to teach protocols for patient education, family counseling, and general public information, promoting patient engagement and empowerment.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Three years' registered nurse experience.
- Constant use of speech to share information through oral communication.
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, reaching, and keyboard use/data entry.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
- Frequent use of hearing to receive oral communication, distinguish body sounds, and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Occasional lifting/moving of patients.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Occasional driving.
- Rare crawling and running.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration.
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State.
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN).
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
