Raleigh Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality MR studies to outpatients.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care and follow established protocols, policies, procedures, and specific instructions.
- Perform MR studies in a safe, efficient, and professional manner, including all required protocols.
- Assess patient's condition, prioritize needs, set goals, and respond appropriately to meet those needs.
- Report and record pertinent observations and reactions to care rendered.
- Administer contrast to assigned patients and assist with specific tests and procedures as needed.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or commiserate experience with ARRT registration.
- Previous experience in a busy office or hospital is preferred.
- AHA BLS certification is required or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R)(ARRT), at time of hire.
Frequent, prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Lifts, positions, pushes or transfers patients. Lifts and moves supply boxes. Subject to rotating holidays or shifts.
