Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute operations to install, maintain, and repair industrial piping systems, pumps, motor sets, heating and air conditioning equipment, and related apparatus.
- Utilize industrial plumber and pipefitter skills to improvise and make decisions where only general methods are available.
- Install and maintain sprinkler systems, including adjusting dry and divisional valves to ensure proper pressures.
- Replace motorized and regulative control equipment for steam and hot water systems, and make minor repairs to copper coil unit heaters.
- Install and maintain new and rebuilt air conditioning units, including repair of reciprocating, absorption, and centrifugal units.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair instruments and control systems for heating, cooling, air, water, and wastewater systems.
- Journeymen or three (3) years of documented plumbing experience.
- Preferred qualifications: Plumber pipefitter experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Five (5) full-time years' experience or the equivalent to Plumber Journeymen level experience.
- Piping experience in an industrial setting.
