Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients during surgical, obstetrical, and other pain-producing clinical procedures.
Responsibilities- Assess patient before, during, and after administering anesthesia
- Ensure patient safety and administer anesthesia following accepted practice techniques
- Act as a liaison to surgeons, anesthesiologists, co-workers, patients, and families
- Participate in department quality assurance initiatives and activities of professional development
- Master's degree from a school of nurse anesthesia accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
- License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of practice
- Certification through the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
