About the Role

The Sales Specialist will be responsible for achieving sales and customer service objectives while adhering to the operational asset protection standards of the boutique.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Objectives
    • Meet monthly and annual individual sales goals while working as part of a team to achieve the boutique's collective target.
    • Organize and prioritize the selling floor to support the sales effort and overall customer experience.
    • Ensure all items are stored at all times and maintain the selling floor to meet standards, including straightening, filling in, and replenishment of new receipts following visual merchandising guidelines, physical electronic article surveillance tagging, ticketing, etc.
  • Point of Sale
    • Process and ensure the accuracy of all transactions, including receipts, customer relationship management files, and administrative support of after-sales service as needed.
    • Partner with management on point of sale decisions and communicate discrepancies, if any, during the opening, closing, and general point of sale variances by the end of the business day.
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times.
  • Asset Protection
    • Comply with all asset protection procedures, including employee sign-in sheets, bag checks in conjunction with asset protection as applicable, practice appropriate asset protection techniques, and follow all guidelines for key control and merchandise security.
    • Respect physical electronic article surveillance tagging guidelines and ensure all products are properly ticketed (on the floor, back of house, and merchandise returns).
    • Prepare for physical inventory and participate in monthly cycle counts, or as directed by management.
  • Customer Service
    • Consistently provide high levels of service to clients within the Hermès standard of service: prompt and friendly greeting, offer to assist, and answer questions, and assistance with wrapping and packaging at the point of sale.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • Strong relationship development and impeccable communication skills.
  • Even-tempered with the ability to continuously multitask.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently while balancing collaboration with a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Open availability to accommodate the needs of the business.
  • Ability to lift between 0-25 lbs. without assistance.
